We have had a busy week working on our Nyalusa project with a lot of 6am wake-ups and hiking in rubbish. Here are some of the pictures from our Nyaluza adventures...
Ireally think these pics should be in colour. Our target market is for young vibrant learners so black and white doesn't serve justice to our target market.
I think that assuming all children like colour photographs is a broad generalisation. As a photographer, I decided to put the pictures into black and white, as many of the pictures are portraits and black and white seem to complement this style of photograph. I have used spot colour in the sound slide piece to keep the children entertained.
Team Prof Green Thumb is a multimedia team that is doing an environment project which will be exhibited end of October in Grahamstown. This project involves working with high school learners from around Grahamstown and giving them practical tools on how to sustain their environment, especially issues surrounding littering and recycling. We endeavour to leave a legacy so that other schools and learners can learn from our project and continue further with it.
